Four Angled Beans with Spicy Shrimp

Veggies with belachan (shrimp paste) are popular in this parts of the world... My particular fave combo is with the crunchy and pretty star-shaped four angled beans. You can easily buy belachan in granules or a block form but this can stink to the high heavens so I prefer substituting it with pounded shrimp and chilli.

Four Angled Beans with Spicy Shrimp
Ingredients:
Four Angled Beans (or any other veg like beans, water spinach etc)
Dried Shrimp
Dried Chilli
Onions - sliced
Garlic - chopped finely
Salt to taste

Method:
1. In a pestle and mortar, pound the dried shrimp together with the dried chilli.
2. In a wok, heat a bit of oil and saute onions & garlic. Add pounded shrimp and fry.
3. Throw in four angled beans and stir-fry.
