Quickie Apple Crumble

Was blog hopping a couple of weeks ago and came across this post by Donald over at Mr. Orph's Kitchen that got me craving for a crumble... As usual, I winged the measurements so the ones given are rough estimates.

Quickie Apple Crumble
Ingredients:
2-3 Green Apples - cubed thickly
A handful of Raisins
1/4 cup Milk
4 tablespoons or about 1/4 cup of Brown sugar
3/4 cup Nestum or oats
3 big tablespoons Butter
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Method:
1. In a bowl, throw in 1 tablespoon butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, raisins, milk and apples. Stir and put in microwave for about 2 minutes on high or till apples are softened. You might get some excess liquid, just pour this into the crumble mix later. Once done, leave aside to cool while you prepare the crumble.
2. In another dry bowl, combine remainder brown sugar, nestum, butter and flour with a fork till crumbly.
3. Press crumble tight on top of apple mixture to form a crust. Microwave for about 4 minutes on high (top randomly with small chips of butter) OR Bake in oven for about 15-20 minutes until topping is golden brown.
