Kitchen Bytes: Kaiser Rolls

I'm so jealous of all you lucky people living in europe where there are sweet smelling bakeries on practically every street! During my trip to Berlin, I fell in love with these kaiser rolls topped with all sorts of seeds and nuts - my faves were poppy seed and sunflower seeds.

Surprisingly discovered this little swiss bakery, Hiestand, with a "secret" entrance through the supermarket at Bangsar Village. Sure, it's a bit of a drive from my place to indulge in this daily but when I do make the effort and come home with a bag (they sell it frozen too), it's an energetic breakfast start for the week. The way I like it? Cut into half and spread with smooth herb cream cheese.
